About the SD HipHop 5k
The SD HipHop 5k pairs a road run with a street festival, so the morning does not end when you cross the finish. Runners and walkers are both at home here, and the organizers encourage people to stick around afterward with chairs and canopies. There is also a virtual option for anyone who wants to participate from a different location.
Packet pickup happens the day before at a booth on Euclid Avenue. Race-morning registration opens early and closes before the start, so arriving with time to spare matters.
