About the Run With Maud 5K Run/Walk

The course runs through Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, a large green space on the west side of Atlanta. The route is open to runners and walkers, and the morning is built around remembrance as much as racing. The race honors Ahmaud Arbery, and the atmosphere reflects that, purposeful and communal without being somber.

Packet pickup opens at the Playground Pavilion before the start, and parking is available at the park. A pre-race program and warm-up session take place on the grounds before the course opens. Proceeds go toward scholarships and youth programming through the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation.
