About the Run Tampa Tinsel Run

The course runs through a park in Tampa, with the start and finish area set up at a shelter toward the back. The route is a standard road race through park grounds, nothing technical underfoot. There is a shorter fun run option alongside the main distance, untimed, so it draws a range of people out on a cool winter morning.

Packet pickup happens at a couple of local running stores in the days before the race, which helps thin out the race-morning crowd. On the day itself, parking is free inside the park, though the start area is a short walk from the main lot. The race is put on by a local running club, open to the public.
