About the Run for the Dogs 5k - Boston
The course runs through Pope John Paul II Park, which sits along the water and offers open views. Dogs are welcome on leash, and plenty of people bring them. The terrain has some uneven ground, so strollers are possible but not ideal. Age group awards are self-serve: check the results board, then stop by the registration table if you placed.
Packet pickup opens an hour before the start on race day, so there is no separate pre-race errand to run. The finish line includes treats for dogs, which is a nice touch if you brought one along.
