About the RPM 911 5K

This race starts and finishes at the Ryan Means American Legion Hall, just off Powers Ferry Road, and it carries real weight. The event opens with a patriotic ceremony before the run begins, honoring the man the race is named for, a staff sergeant whose story draws veterans, military families, and civilians together on the course.

Parking is at the north end of Chastain Park, near the amphitheater and pool, with a shuttle to the start for those who want it. After the race, veterans serve BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, and cold drinks on site. Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with morning pickup available at the start.
