The Ravenswood Run moves through one of Chicago's older residential neighborhoods, the kind of streets where the architecture does the talking. There is also a separate kids' race alongside the main distance. The whole event doubles as a fundraiser for a local food pantry and community kitchen that serves the surrounding North Side neighborhood.
