About the Port of San Diego Game Day 5K Run/Walk
The course runs along San Diego's harbor front, starting where Harbor Street meets Ash. It is a flat route with water on one side and parade crowds on the other, because this race shares the morning with a large parade. Floats, marching bands, and giant inflatable characters are part of the backdrop as you run.
Registration and bib pickup happen race morning at the start intersection. There is no pickup the day before. After the race, there is a post-race gathering with a live DJ, fresh fruit, packaged snacks, and water. Age division awards go several places deep and are picked up at a dedicated table near the finish.
