About the MLK Jr. Freedom Run 5K/10K/13.1 ATLANTA
This is a small-field run held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, organized around the idea of honoring his legacy rather than chasing a clock. Timing is optional, self-tracked through whatever app you prefer, and coordinators are on hand to help. Several distance options are available, and the capped waves keep the group intimate enough that you are unlikely to feel lost in a crowd.
There is no packet pickup line. Your race bib is handed out on-site, and coordinators stay through the morning to accommodate later arrivals. Final course maps and participant details go out by email the week of the event, so check your inbox before you head out.
