About the Mission Hills 5K
The course winds through the streets of the Mission Hills neighborhood, a historic area with the character you'd expect from older residential San Diego. The route starts outside a school and finishes in a nearby park, so the crowd shifts as you go. Strollers are welcome, and the finish area hosts a post-race gathering with the feel of a block party.
Packet pickup happens on the two evenings before the race at a local financial services office, and again midday the day before at Pioneer Park. Race-morning pickup near the start line is for bibs only. Parking is on the surrounding streets. The finish-line celebration takes place at Pioneer Park, just down the block from the start.
