The course runs through SeaWorld before the park opens to the public, past the rides and along the water with no crowds in the way. Costumes are a real part of the morning, not an afterthought, and there is a stretch of the route set aside to honor those affected by impaired driving. The race supports MADD Central Florida.
The parking gates close early on race morning, so arriving with time to spare matters. The course goes ahead regardless of weather.
