About the Komen Greater Atlanta Race for the Cure
The course runs through the Buckhead neighborhood, starting and finishing at Lenox Square mall. The streets there are wide and well-marked, and the surrounding area is dense with shops and landmarks, so there is always something to look at while you move.
The start area is at the mall itself, which makes it easy to find and gives plenty of space to gather before the gun. The race benefits breast cancer research, and that mission tends to draw a crowd that includes people at every pace, from serious runners to those out for a purposeful walk.
