About the Isnt She Lovely Lowrider Run
The course runs along Mission Bay, an out-and-back route on a path shared with the public, so expect other park visitors alongside you. The water is close the whole way, and the surroundings are open and flat. Several distance options make it accessible to runners and walkers alike, and the lowrider theme gives the event a distinct personality you do not see at most road races.
Registration opens on race morning at De Anza Cove Park. The course uses the same path for all distances, with longer options simply adding another pass. Results and photos are posted the same day, which is a nice touch if you are running with family who want to see how it went.
