About the Holy Halloween! 5K & 1 Mile "Fun" Run/Walk
The course runs through Blackburn Park in Brookhaven, a green city park with paved paths. The route is USATF certified, so a strong effort here can count toward seeding in other local races. Costumes are encouraged, and there is an award for the most creative ones, so expect some memorable outfits on the course.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a local running store, where registered runners get a small store discount, and again at race morning at the park. Parking is free on site, with overflow at a nearby YMCA and grocery store. After the race, there is music, pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating, and activities for kids.
