About the Heartland Pride Fun Run/Walk
The course follows the Keystone Trail out of a fitness center on the west side of Omaha. The trail runs flat the whole way, so there are no surprises underfoot. The event is timed but results are based on clock time rather than a chip. It is put on by Omaha Front Runners/Walkers as a celebration of the local LGBTQ community.
Check-in opens well before the start and runs up to gun time, so there is no reason to rush. The start and finish are both at Peak Performance, which keeps things simple for anyone meeting up with friends before or after.
