About the Grateful Run 5K/10K
The course is an out-and-back, with the longer distance simply repeating the same route. That means you pass the finish area partway through the second distance, which can be a nice little boost. The race is not chip timed, so finish times are tracked by the clock from the gun rather than your individual crossing.
Photos are taken on course and available free afterward. There is a finish line celebration when you are done. The event is positioned around the Thanksgiving season, and the crowd tends to reflect that, lots of families and groups who showed up together.
