About the 20th Annual Give n' Gobble Turkey Trot
This Thanksgiving morning tradition runs through Sherwood, with the course based at a high school. The race draws families and teams together, and the atmosphere on the holiday tends to feel unhurried and neighborly, though runners at all paces show up.
Packet pickup is offered before race day at a local YMCA, which is the easier option if you want a calm morning. Bib pickup is also available on race day at the start site, but arriving early is strongly recommended if you go that route. Both locations also accept nonperishable food donations.
