The course starts at Team Sportsplex and heads into a BREC park, mixing pavement with trail sections. It is a Halloween-themed run, so costumes are expected and there are prizes for them, including one for the last finisher. The cause is breast cancer awareness and research.
Vendors set up at the start and finish area, and there is food and drinks on site after the run. The atmosphere leans toward a Halloween block party as much as a race.
