About the ChuckFAST Gleaux-Run 2025
This is a nighttime run through downtown Lake Charles and its historic neighborhoods, lit up with neon and glow gear. A DJ leads the field from a pickup truck, so the whole thing moves more like a Louisiana-style parade than a road race. The route is a fundraiser for a local arts and culture council, and food and cold drinks are waiting at the finish.
Packet pickup is held at a local running store on Ryan Street over the two days before the race, with a window at the start line on race evening as well. Downtown parking lots are available nearby, though several streets and lots close to the start are off-limits, so carpooling is worth considering.
