About the 24th Annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K
The course runs through Grant Park, a historic neighborhood with tree-lined streets that give the race its character. The route is timed to open a summer festival happening in the same area that morning, so there is already a crowd and some energy when the gun goes off. Age group awards go deep, covering a wide spread from young runners through older age brackets.
The zoo parking lot and deck nearby are paid options, with street parking around the neighborhood as well. A free bike valet, sponsored by Northside Hospital, opens early near a fountain in the park and stays open well past the finish into the festival afternoon.
