Winston-Salem takes running seriously in a way you notice quickly. Salem Lake's crushed-gravel loop pulls weekend runners out to the southeast side of the city, the Salem Creek Greenway connects Old Salem to the water, and Hanes Park and Reynolda Village fill out the weekday rhythm.
