About the 09/05/26: Lakad for Rights
The course runs through Columbia Park in north Portland, a neighborhood park with open grounds. The pace here is shaped by the event's purpose: it draws people who want to walk or run in support of Filipino health and humanitarian causes, so the field tends to move at whatever speed feels right that day.
After the run, the park stays active for several hours with Filipino food, vendors, and live performances. It turns into a genuine outdoor gathering rather than a quick finish-and-scatter, so plan to stay a while if you can.
