About This Club

Greenpoint Runners is a free Saturday morning run out of Bandit Running on Noble Street, built around a fixed 5-mile route through the neighborhood and along the waterfront. There's no membership and no sign-up, so it suits people who want a regular running habit without any admin attached to it. It's aimed at beginners and social runners who want to explore Greenpoint on foot, not folks chasing splits.

Who It Suits

This suits beginners, social runners, and people who want a reason to get to know Greenpoint's streets and waterfront on a Saturday. It's not built for competitive racers looking for structured pace work, and there's no trail running here if that's what you're after. It's also not set up for strollers or dogs, so plan around that if you'd normally bring either.

What a Run With Them Is Like

It's a single 5-mile route each week, road and neighborhood streets with a stretch along the waterfront. Pace is described as all paces welcome, so this isn't a run where you'll be timed or sorted into pace groups by the club. Expect pavement underfoot the whole way, not trail.

Your First Run

Show up at Bandit Running, 37 Noble Street, between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. There's no registration, so you don't need to sign up in advance or tell anyone you're coming, just arrive. It's worth checking their Instagram beforehand in case of any schedule updates. Since it's all paces welcome and beginner-friendly, showing up without a running history isn't going to make you stand out.
