About the 2026 PPTC Turkey Trot: Race for Reconciliation 5 Miler

The course runs through Prospect Park on Thanksgiving morning, starting on Center Drive and finishing at Harry's Wall. The park loop is shaded and mostly even underfoot, with a gentle roll or two through the interior. Waves are staggered, with the earlier one reserved for those chasing overall prizes and the later one drawing most of the crowd.

Packet pickup runs at Brooklyn Running Company in Park Slope across several windows in the days before the race, and the organizers push hard for pre-race pickup. Race-morning bib pickup is available at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, which also serves as bag drop. After finishing, there are bagels, hot chocolate, and apples at the Duck Island café.
