About the Zombie Run
The course is non-timed, which sets the tone. Runners wear flag belts, and zombies are stationed and hidden along the route trying to strip them off. Surviving with a flag intact earns a bonus reward. A shorter family option runs alongside it, with zombies cheering instead of hunting, and kids can trick-or-treat and take pictures along the way.
The event is a fundraiser for Lyceum Academy, an honors program at a local high school. That context shows in the atmosphere: this is a school community putting on something genuinely weird and fun, not a production company running a Halloween theme night.
