About the Witches in the Woods 5K/2K

This is an evening race through the trees and along the roads of a fairgrounds, so you will want a headlamp or flashlight. The course has a mixed feel, part wooded path, part open road, and the darkness gives it a witchy atmosphere that fits the costume crowd showing up alongside the runners.

The race is built around a larger seasonal market happening the same evening, with hay rides, live music, food, craft drinks, costume contests, and a Sanderson Sisters performance. Registration and packet pickup happen on-site before the start, so there is no separate pre-race errand to run.
