About the Santa Run & Walk 5K/2K
The course runs through the streets of Crown Point, with both a timed run and a shorter, untimed option for walkers and strollers. Proceeds go to local food pantries, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the race itself. Age group awards go out after, so competitive runners have something to race for.
The start and packet pickup are at a Methodist hall on Main Street, with pickup available the evening before or on race morning. Afterward, there is hot cocoa, Christmas treats, and pizza on site, along with a visit from Santa.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Santa Run & Walk 5K/2K has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
