About the 2026 Winter Solstice Run/Walk
This is an untimed, free social run through Mason, so nobody is racing anybody. Runners and walkers go out together, follow marked turns along the route, and head back without a clock hanging over any of it. The whole thing wraps up in under an hour and happens in the evening, which gives it a different feel than a weekend morning race.
Bibs get handed out at check-in before the start, so there is no scrambling on the way out. Afterward, the group moves into Sonder Brewing for drinks and food from their kitchen. It is a natural gathering point, and most people stick around.
