About the SPOOKTACULAR COSTUME 5K RUN & WALK
The course winds through Corwin M. Nixon Park, a stroller and dog-friendly route that suits pretty much any pace. Costumes are part of the point here, and the Halloween timing means most people show up dressed for it. The race benefits a school food pantry program, so the crowd tends to be families and neighbors who know what they are running for.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the Mason Community Center, with race-morning check-in available if that works better. The start area is in the park itself.
