About the Fleet Feet's Mason Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The course runs through Corwin Nixon Park on Thanksgiving morning, so the surroundings are wooded and open at the same time. Dogs on short leashes are welcome, and strollers are allowed as long as they line up toward the back. It reads as a before-the-feast kind of outing rather than a hard-effort tune-up.
Packet pickup happens the two days before the race at a Fleet Feet store in West Chester, with race-morning pickup available if you need it. Parking is at several school and community center lots along Mason-Montgomery Road, and the organizers suggest arriving early since there is a walk to the starting line from those lots.
