About the Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K
The race starts and finishes at Sonder Brewing, so the post-race scene is built right into the venue. Several local breweries pour German beers throughout the day, there is festive food, live music, and kids activities, making the festival the main event as much as the run itself. Costume prizes go to the best individual and team Oktoberfest outfits.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Sonder Brewing, with a second window on race morning before the start. Dogs on leash and strollers are both welcome out on the course. After the main race, a short kids fun dash goes off on the same course and crosses the same finish line.
