About the Wagfest Leashes and Laces 2 Mile Walk/Run
The course follows the Roger F. Snyder Greenway out and back, starting and finishing at Wagfest at Market Station. Dogs are welcome and clearly expected; there is a registration option built around bringing your pet. The event is not timed, so the pace is entirely up to you and whoever is on the other end of the leash.
After you finish, the festival grounds have food vendors, pup cups, live music, and games. Proceeds go to the Stanly County Humane Society, which gives the whole morning a clear purpose beyond just the walk itself.
