About the UT San Antonio Alumni Association Diploma Dash 5K
The course runs through the main campus of UT San Antonio, starting outside the Convocation Center. The route keeps you on familiar ground for anyone who has spent time on campus, and the whole thing is organized around a scholarship fundraiser run by the alumni association, so the crowd skews heavily toward Roadrunner graduates and current students.
Packet pickup happens at a nearby barbecue spot on UTSA Boulevard in the days before the race. Parking is free right outside the start. After you finish, there is a spread of snacks, fruit, coffee, juice, and hot sausage wraps, which is a bit more than the usual post-race table.
