About the Turtle Crawl 2027
The Turtle Crawl runs on the roads of Jekyll Island as the sea turtle nesting season gets underway, making the setting part of the point. The island's flat coastal roads keep the course moving along for most paces, and the connection to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center gives the whole morning a purpose beyond just finishing. Pets are not permitted in any of the race events.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a location posted closer to race day, with an early morning option on race day itself for those who cannot make it the day prior. On-site registration is also available race morning, closing shortly before the start.
