About the Turkey Trot of McDonough
The Turkey Trot of McDonough runs on Thanksgiving morning and benefits Henry County Special Olympics, so the cause is woven into the event itself. There are distance options for different legs, from a short fun run to a full trot, and age group awards go deep into the brackets. Music and a group warm-up get things moving before the start.
