About the Turkey Shuffle - San Antonio
The Turkey Shuffle runs through Lady Bird Johnson Trail Park on trails that follow Texas greenbelts in autumn. The surroundings are wooded and quiet for most of the route, with the park doing most of the work scenery-wise. Several distance options mean you can pick your effort, and a kids dash keeps it a whole-family morning.
A DJ keeps things moving at the start and finish area, and the race rally tent has snacks and refreshments when you are done. A Thanksgiving costume contest runs alongside the race, with a trophy and prize pack going to the best dressed. Age group awards are announced live at the finish.
