About the Turkey Day Dash!
The Turkey Day Dash runs on Thanksgiving morning out of a church on Redwine Road. The entry fee supports a local nonprofit focused on helping widows and their families. The race draws the kind of crowd you'd expect on a holiday morning: people of all paces, many running with family before the food starts.
Packet pickup and registration are available on race morning, though signing up ahead of time is the move if you want anything beyond the run itself. The start is at the church parking lot, which gives you a straightforward place to meet up before and after.
