About the Inman Frosty 5K & Reindeer Run
The course mixes grass, gravel, and pavement, so expect to move across a few different surfaces rather than staying on road the whole way. It starts and finishes at an elementary school, and the shorter distance runs almost simultaneously with the main race, so the start area tends to be busy with kids and families in holiday gear.
The race is part of a regional points series, which brings out some competitive runners alongside the school community crowd. Holiday costumes and reindeer antlers are common enough that showing up in regular running kit makes you the odd one out. Packet pickup is available before the start, so arriving with a little extra time helps.
