About the TMC A-Mountain Half Marathon + 4-Miler + Family Mile
The course climbs around the top of A-Mountain, then heads out and back along the Santa Cruz Riverpath for the longer distance option. The terrain is mixed, and the morning starts cool in the Sonoran Desert, but temperatures climb as the hours pass. Runners doing the shorter option stay closer to the mountain itself.
The start and finish are at the Mercado San Agustin area in downtown Tucson, where modified shipping containers house the event staging. Parking on the Mercado lots costs a fee, with street parking and a nearby lot a short walk away. Post-race, Westbound is offering a discount on drinks, and a local shop near the base of A-Mountain has a discount for finishers who show their bib.
