About the Time Travel Half-Marathon/5K/10K - Orlando

The Time Travel theme carries through the whole morning in Orlando, with costume participation fitting right in alongside everyday running gear. Distance options range from a short kids' dash up through a half marathon, so families with runners of different abilities tend to show up together. The course itself is timed for most distances, with the shorter options running untimed for a looser atmosphere.

There is an early packet pickup deadline in the days before race day if you want to lock in your size for any registration extras. Race morning pickup is also available as a backup. Post-race, the finish area draws families, since the kids' dash brings younger siblings and parents who are done early.

Common Questions About the Time Travel Half-Marathon/5K/10K - Orlando

Will I finish last at the Time Travel Half-Marathon/5K/10K - Orlando?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 36:46, and the last recorded finisher came in around 56:27, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Time Travel Half-Marathon/5K/10K - Orlando a good first 3.1 Miles?

It is a small race (65 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Time Travel Half-Marathon/5K/10K - Orlando?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 22:26 while the median finisher took 36:46. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.

Where can I train for the Time Travel Half-Marathon/5K/10K - Orlando?

Join a local run club. Orlando Runners Club, Home State Run Club, Park Brewing Run Club and others in Orlando welcome runners of all paces, and a weekly group run is the most reliable way to hold a training block together.
