About the Wiener Run - San Antonio
The Wiener Run is held at Southside Lions Park and leans into its theme hard, from the punny distance names to a live DJ calling out finishers by name at the line. The timed and untimed options mean serious runners and first-timers share the same course, and a local wiener dog rescue group is part of the event, with donations collected on-site.
Packet pickup runs the morning of the race and wraps up a short time before the start. After you finish, there are hot dogs and drinks at the line, and a full awards celebration follows with a BBQ-picnic feel. The registration tent is where results and awards are handled throughout the morning.
