About the 13th Annual Wenonah Turkey Trot
The course runs through the tree-lined streets of historic Wenonah, which gives the whole thing a neighborhood feel. It is a quick out-and-back style route, flat enough that you see plenty of families and dogs out there alongside the faster runners. The race supports a statewide child welfare charity, and canned food donations are welcome at the church on race morning.
The start is at Memorial Presbyterian Church on East Mantua Avenue. Registration opens before the gun goes off, so there is no need to arrive the night before. Age group awards go several places deep, and trophies go to the overall male and female winners as well.
