About the Merriest Night: Run & Holiday Festival
The course runs through a wooded section of Timber Creek Park decorated with Christmas lights and holiday touches. The finish line sits beside a rotunda pavilion, which anchors the post-race gathering. There are several distance options, from a full evening run to a short dash for the youngest kids, all sharing the same decorated paths through the park.
After the races, the pavilion hosts a choir performance, a community Christmas tree, and an awards ceremony. Hot cocoa comes from a coffee truck on site. There are crafts, mini games, and picnic tables, and the evening wraps up with a classic Christmas movie, so most people stick around well past the finish line.
