About the Thanksgiving Day Southmoor Park Fun Run
This Thanksgiving morning run takes place at Southmoor Park, with the entrance off Oneida and Peach. The course does a couple of laps around the park, keeping things short and manageable for all ages. The terrain is park-style, the route is simple to follow, and the whole thing wraps up quickly enough to get back to the kitchen.
The event benefits the Southmoor Elementary Pantry and Backpack Program, which supports local families, and runners are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations on race day. Food and drinks are set out after the run, and the start is right at the park entrance off Oneida and Peach.
