About the Texas Tough Turkey Chase 5k/10k and Kids Run
The course runs through the Dominion neighborhood on Thanksgiving morning, a residential area in San Antonio. The route feels like a neighborhood run, not a road race through traffic, which shapes the whole morning. The kids run keeps things moving early, and the chip timing means results are official for everyone who wants to compare splits afterward.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store on the west side of the city, with race-morning pickup at the start area in the Dominion neighborhood as a backup. The store is a good stop if you want to grab anything you forgot.
