About the TCC Wave Makers 5K
The course runs through Audubon Park, following paved paths that stay flat the whole way. It is the kind of terrain where you can genuinely push for a fast time or settle into a comfortable pace without fighting any elevation. The park setting means shade and scenery rather than open pavement.
Pickup happens before the gun goes off, with the start area inside the park. After finishing, there is food and drinks at the post-race gathering, which tends to draw both runners and families connected to the cancer center's work.
