The run starts and ends at the Abita Brewing Company parking lot, with a couple of marked route options as well as the freedom to go your own way. The surrounding area is easy running, and the brewery itself gives the whole thing a casual after-work feel.
A Fleet Feet tent is set up near the brewery entrance before the run. Afterward, Abita offers buy-one-get-one pints at the taproom, so most people stick around. It is a good reason not to rush out.
