About the 2026 Power of Pearl Lung Cancer Walk
This is a walk through Covington centered on lung cancer awareness. The route draws survivors alongside people walking in memory of someone they lost, and the two groups share the same course. A Resource Village runs alongside the event, where medical staff are on hand to talk through screening and prevention.
Post-walk, there is live music and food at the finish area. The organizers also make time for survivor stories from the stage, so the morning tends to stretch a bit past the walk itself. Plan accordingly if you have somewhere to be after.
