About the TACO FUN RUN- BAKERSFIELD
The course runs out of Yokuts Park, a large green space in Bakersfield. The route is set up for a range of paces, with a short kids race alongside the main distance options. Music plays during the event, and tacos and agua fresca are at the finish, which gives the morning a decidedly food-forward reason to show up.
Bib pickup happens at the park on race morning before the start, so there is no separate pre-race errand to run. The park itself is the staging area, the start, and the post-race hangout all in one place.
