About the 3rd Annual Bakersfield Waffle Run

The course starts at a shared point and splits partway through, with turnaround signs directing runners onto their respective routes. The terrain and surroundings are not described in detail, but the out-and-back shape means you retrace familiar ground on the way back, and aid stations are spaced through the longer route to keep you covered.

Packet pickup opens in the early morning before the start, so you can arrive, get your bib, and still have time to warm up. The schedule is tight and moves quickly from check-in through a brief welcome before the first wave heads out.
