The course starts and finishes on a school campus, then heads out through the surrounding residential streets for most of the route. The roads are flat neighborhood streets, with houses and sidewalks rather than trails or traffic. A health fair runs on campus before and after the race, with entertainment and health information for anyone who comes early or lingers.
